5” (13CM) TWO-WAY COAXIAL KIT

The PC 130 2-way coaxial kit was designed to provide you with live sound in every aspect. These car audio speaker drivers have an assertive design: with their chrome-plated magnet and their aluminium chassis, they will perfectly integrate your car. PC 130 speaker drivers are extremely resistant over time thanks to the materials used, such as butyl and aluminium.

With its inverted dome tweeter and its Polyglass cone woofer, this car audio kit offers mellow and natural sound without directivity. The soundstage is high and realistic thanks to the tweeter’s acoustic horn which also allows you to orientate the tweeter for increased listening comfort.

With more than 30 years of expertise and very highly qualified engineers for whom innovation is their catchword, Focal’s R&D department provides you with the highest quality audio equipment.

TNP TWEETER

Aluminium inverted dome tweeter

Featuring a 20 mm coil on a Kapton® mounting and a neodymium motor, the TNP inverted dome tweeter is a high-performance piece of equipment for on-board listening. Its aluminum design increases dome rigidity and greatly reduces distortion, guaranteeing a smooth, balanced soundstage. Its three installation options (flush-mount, inclined-mount, surface-mount) make it highly modular.

POLYGLASS MEMBRANE

Well-defined mids

The diaphragm, the key component of a loudspeaker, is at the heart of our acoustic engineers’ research. Polyglass technology, exclusive to Focal, consists of applying fine glass microbeads to a cellulose pulp cone. This process reconciles the excellent damping of paper with the rigidity of glass. The stiffness index is almost 10 times that of polypropylene. Adjusting the mass-rigidity-damping ratio results in a remarkably linear frequency response curve, right from the membrane design stage. This innovation also significantly increases definition in the midrange register.
