The 130 AS two-way kit is extremely versatile. It combines multiple adjustment possibilities with outstanding sound performance, characterized by dynamic bass and precise treble, enabling extended listening without causing hearing fatigue. Musicality invites itself on board your car.
CONFIGURE YOUR SOUND
Three tweeter mounting options are available, as well as three sound level adjustment positions (-3 / 0 / +3 dB) thanks to the compact separate crossover. The adjustment is tailor-made, so all you have to do is enjoy the soundstage…
POWER
The DFS® membrane of the woofers, combined with a Kapton®-supported coil, guarantees high power handling. The whole system is supported by a high-output 85 mm motor and a rigid, non-magnetic, anti-resonant ABS frame.

From the Access range onwards, Focal engineers pay extreme attention not only to product reliability, but also to design. The 130 AS takes up the brand’s codes, with a modernized profile and streamlined grilles for subtle integration into passenger compartments.
A COMPLETE LINE
2-way and 3-way component kits, or 2-way coaxial kits, can be combined with a subwoofer or two subwoofers for a renewed soundstage in your car. Power handling, bass response and acoustics are the common denominators of the Access range.

DFS MEMBRANE
Power handling
DFS® (Dual Fiberglass Structure) technology is made up of robust, reliable membranes. Composed of two glass fibres braided at 90° and sealed with a polyurethane coating, this material can be used in extreme acoustic and climatic conditions… It offers efficient power handling and good bass response.
INVERTED DOME TWEETER
Optimum space dispersion
The inverted dome tweeter has been a Focal signature since 1981, offering the property of being a true micro-speaker. The curvature of the dome is much less pronounced than that of positive domes. This results in better space dispersion and very low directionality, unlike ribbon tweeters. The inverted dome tweeter therefore generates unrivalled dynamics, enabling sound engineers to precisely control the dosage of compression. The precision of the image (height, width and depth) is remarkable, making it easy to position each instrument. What’s more, a waveguide has been developed to perfect spatialization and further enhance the inverted dome’s very low directionality. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.
